# Your profile

> Edit the name colleagues see next to your changes, and sign out.

Your avatar sits at the far right of the top bar, showing your initials. Hovering it reveals your name and email; clicking it opens the menu.

## Edit your profile

Select **Profile** to open **Edit your profile**.

**Given name** and **Family name** are editable. **Email** is shown but cannot be changed here — it is the identity you sign in with.

Your name is what appears wherever Studio attributes a change: the *Last updated by* line on a card, source or segment, the change log of a catalog entry, and the **Updated by** filter.

  If your account has no name set, Studio opens **Complete your profile** instead and asks for it before you can carry on. That version of the dialog cannot be dismissed.

## Change your password

Passwords are not managed in Studio. Sign out and use the **Forgot password** link on the sign-in page, or your identity provider if your organisation signs in through one.

## Sign out

Select **Sign out**. This ends the session for every environment you have access to, not just the one you are viewing.
