A published version’s contract is fixed. To add an endpoint, add a language, remove a property or rename an alias, create a new version — consumers stay on the old URL until they move.

Open the version selector

Add the version

Click Add new version at the bottom of the list, then Add version in the dialog.The version is numbered for you — the next number up — and the name is not editable.
The new version copies the endpoints and configuration of the one it was forked from, and starts as Not published. It gets its own URL: .../{safe name}/v{number}.

When you cannot add one

Add new version is disabled while the destination already has an unpublished version. Publish or delete that one first — a destination carries at most one version in flight.
The version selector lists every version of the destination, newest first, and carries a search box. Switching versions from here reloads the page against that version.

How many to keep

Every version is fed independently. Onboarded data propagates to each one, so two live versions mean twice the work and slower propagation to both. Keep at most two, and delete the old one once consumers have moved.
