A published version can take a limited set of additions without a new version:
  • new properties
  • new segments
  • new relations
  • facets enabled on a property
Saving one of these does not make it live. The version moves to the Pending changes status, and Publish reappears in the header.

Spotting them

Publish or discard

To make them live, click Publish and confirm. Studio lists an Updates impact warning for each change that carries risk on a live API. An endpoint with pending changes also offers a control to restore it to its published content, discarding everything unpublished on that endpoint.
Restoring discards every pending change on that endpoint at once, not just the last one, and cannot be undone.
Changes that would break the existing contract — removing a property, renaming an alias, adding an endpoint or a language — cannot be made pending at all. Those controls are disabled on a published version; use a new version.
