Delete every entry in a source while keeping the source and its properties.
Purging empties a source. The source, its properties and its links to providers and cards stay; every entry goes.
1
Open the source menu
Open the source and press the menu in the top right corner, then Purge source.
Purge source is disabled on a source with no entries, and while a purge is already running.
2
Confirm by typing the source name
Type the source name to confirm. It has to match exactly.
3
Press Yes, purge source
The purge starts in the background.
A purge cannot be undone. Every entry in the source is deleted, and any card or destination reading from this source will see the data disappear. If the data came from an integration, it only comes back on the next ingest run.
The source is locked until the purge completes. Importing is unavailable, entries cannot be edited or deleted, and both Purge source and Delete source are disabled.
Purge keeps the shape of the source and throws away the content, which is what you want when you are reloading data or clearing test entries. Delete removes the source itself, and only works once the source is already empty and unused.
